Lee Unkrich, the director of Toy Story 3, announced today that Kristen Schaal (The Flight of the Conchords) will voice a newly introduced character in the film and that Blake Clark is doing the voice of Slinky, replacing his old friend Jim Varney, who had played the character in both Toy Story and Toy Story 2. Varney died on February 10th, 2000.
