Samuel L. Jackson Does Not Know He Is In Thor?

This is some really strange news coming from Samuel L. Jackson himself... he told MTV that he did not even know he was in "Thor". Samuel L. Jackson plays Nick Fury and has appeared in "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2, and has been set to appear in "Thor" and "The First Avenger: Captain America", following "The Avengers".

I find this odd considering he has been confirmed to be in "Thor" by Marvel themselves and he signed a deal to appear in nine different films, so I assume he is just trying to keep it secret or he has not been told to film his scenes yet.

If Jackson does not appear as Fury in the film however, we will have Agent Coulson, who is Nick Fury's right hand man at S.H.I.E.L.D.

Will "The Hobbit" Be Released In 2012?

Guillermo Del Toro's planned prequel of "The Lord of The Rings" films, "The Hobbit", seems to be in a huge mess lately. It had been said that the film would be released in 2012, then Peter Jackson, the director of "The Lord of The Rings" film and producer on "The Hobbit", stated the film would be released at Christmas 2011. But Variety says the film will indeed be released in 2012 as originally planned.

Alan Horn, the executice producer over at New Line Cinema had told Variety that the film may not hit the big screen until a full year after its original planned release.

The status right now is that Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Guillermo Del Toro are working on the script for the second "Hobbit" film, then the studio will begin casting.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt And Marc Webb Has Discussed The "Spider-Man" Reboot

It was just recentley announced that Marc Webb is set to direct the upcoming reboot of the "Spider-Man" franchise being released in the summer of 2012, and ever since people have been wondering "Who will play Peter Parker?".

Well a popular suggestion for the role is Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who Marc Webb directed in "(500) Days of Summer". In fact, he has been rumored to tackle the role ever since rumors started that Tobey Maguire would not be in "Spider-Man 4" back in the early days of the Spidey 4 production.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was just asked by Josh Horowitz of MTV if he has had any talks with Webb regarding taking over the superhero role and here is the video interview.

Hugh Jackman's New Movie "Real Steel" Will Film In Michigan

Today is January 23rd, and beleive it or not, I have not updated the site since October 24th! So I am going to make sure I dont allow the site to go off to oblivion again...

Well back on topic, "Real Steel", an upcoming 2011 film starring Hugh Jackman, about robots who box.

The Michigan Film Office approved of them filming "Real Steel" mostly in Detroit, while also occasionally filming in different parts of the state.

This film sure does sound interesting and I think I will definantly check it out when it hits the silver screen.

Bond 23 Starting Filming In Late 2010 Says Daniel Craig

James Bond fans assemble! While Daniel Craig was busy signing autographs after a performance of his stage play A Steady Rain, opposite Hugh Jackman, a fan of Craig had asked him when the 23rd film in the James Bond film would start shooting. According to a quick comment Craig gave, Bond 23 will, “start at the end of the next year.”

Dont beleive it? Watch this video to see for yourself! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw1CCmWP7Ro)

So... my only complaint is that means we probably wont see it released until either late 2011 or early 2012.

Roland Emmerich Set To Direct Shakespeare Film

Roland Emmerich, the man who directed Independance Day and the upcoming 2012 film is apparently going to direct the most unexpected film that you would expect him to direct. He is now set to direct a film based on William Shakespeare. Odd? Yeah, pretty much.

The film is titled Anonymous, and it tackles the controversy over whether Shakespeare actually wrote all of the plays attributed to him. It’s no secret the prolific playwright lifted plotlines and characters from history or other sources, but some literary historians claim the philosopher Francis Bacon or rival dramaturge Christopher Marlowe authored some, if not all, of Shakespeare’s works.

I am interested in seeing how this turns out. Are you?

Sylvester Stallone Now Making Rocky 7

Sylvester Stallone has recently been working on bringing his two most iconic roles back to the big screen. In 2006, he brought Rocky Balboa back to the silver screen in a sixth film, then in 2008, he returned as John Rambo in a fourth Rambo film. Now he has reportedly been starting work on a fifth Rambo film titled Rambo V: The Savage Hunt and Sly has now revealed to Tele5 Germany that he is now working on Rocky 7.

"I know I'll probably make a fool of myself if I make another 'Rocky' film after turning 60," said Stallone, who is now 63 years old. "I also know there's gonna be a lot of criticism. Even my wife says, 'Don't do it. You're embarrassing the kids'. But I told her, 'If I don't try I'll be a really unhappy man.'"

He added: "I know it's ludicrous and everyone would laugh. I would laugh about it. But I also know that I'd be successful if I can make this a film about becoming older, not about boxing but about myself."

In my opinion, sure, it may come off silly to a lot of people. But, if Sly can make it as good as the other Rocky films then I think it will be good... hopefully.
