Chris Pine (Star Trek) is now in negotiations with Paramount Pictures to play Jack Ryan in a reboot of the franchise based on Tom Clancy's novels.
The studio and producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mace Neufeld are working with a script draft by Hossein Amini, based on an original concept.
Chris Pine would be the fourth actor to play Jack Ryan, taking the reigns of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck.
I am sure everyone is jealous of Chris Pine, considering not only is he close to playing Jack Ryan, he is also playing Captain James T. Kirk. He must have on hell of a good agent!
